Elma Elaine Forbes, 95 of Ashland passed away Thursday July 9, 2026 at her residence. She was born

March 20, 1931 in Ashland County the daughter of Luther and Viola Meeks Graven. She worked in the

Dry Cleaning business.

She is survived by her nephew Walter (Carla) Graven of Perrysville, 4 great nephews, Michael Graven

of Perrysville, Matt Graven of Perrysville, Heath Meyer of Ashland and Jeremy (Jake) Meyer of

Perrysville and a great niece, Heidi Redinger of Jeromesville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald Forbes and two brothers, Homer and

Donald Graven.

Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday July 14, 2026 at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
