Elda (Ellie) May Harper, 76 of Ashland died Friday March 9,

2018 at her residence. She was born April 27, 1941 in Ashland

Co. the daughter of Floyd W. and Bessie Gerwig Biddinger.

She was a graduate of Ashland High School and a homemaker.

She belonged to the Eagles where she was treasurer of the

Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the VFW.

She is survived by five children, Larry (Pegg) Harper of Ashland, Steven (Stacey) Harper of

Jeromesville, John (special friend Ginnie Scurlock) Harper of Ashland, Stacy (Brett) Emminger of

Jeromesville Shawn (Racheal) Harper of Ashland, a special niece Lisa (Jimi) Smith of Savannah

10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, special friend, Bill Watkins and a brother, Gerald Biddinger

of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carl Deane Harper on July 22, 2010, a

grandson, Adam Smith, a brother, Kenneth Biddinger and a sister, Judy Biddinger.

Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday March 14, 2018 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Zeke Hedglin officiating. Burial will be in Lake Fork Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday March 13, 2018 from 6-9 pm at the funeral home.
