Edith Margaret (Sealey) Flickinger, 81 of Wooster died Sunday May 27, 2012

at West View Manor.  She was born August 17, 1930 in Marietta the

daughter of Chester E. and Kathryn Hass Hupp.  Edith moved to the

Mansfield area at a young age and attended Perrysville schools.

Edith was in retail sales for over 35 years, retiring from Lazarus in 1993.  She

attended Diamond Hill Cathedral in Mansfield for 32 years where she sang and

traveled with the church choir.  She was a supporter of many charities,

assisted with costumes at the Living Bible Museum, was an animal rights

activist and enjoyed gardening, and flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Flickinger to whom she was

married October 27, 1997, a daughter, Kathryn Frances Sealey of

Columbus, a son, Johnnie Thomas (Janice) Sealey of Mansfield, two step-daughters,

Tina Haven and Kelly Flickinger, 4 granddaughters, Angie, Lorie, Tracy

and Virginia, 10 great grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren and was guardian

of Charles Sealey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Joyce Ann Sealey, two sons,

Jackie Dean Sealey and David Lee Sealey, and three brothers, Chester,

Leslie, and Daniel Hupp.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday June 1, 2012 at Fickes Funeral Home in

Jeromesville with Pastor Gerald McCabe officiating.  Burial will be in

Blachleyville Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday May 31, 2012 from

6-8 pm at the funeral home.
