Obituary

Duane Dale Bodager, 79 of Jeromesville passed away Tuesday December 9, 2025 at UH Samaritan


Medical Center. He was born March 31, 1946 in Wayne County the son of Dale and Clara Farney


Bodager. He was a 1964 graduate of Jeromesville High School and worked at Holmes-Wayne Electric


as a Lineman. Duane loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as John Deere tractors.


He a was a member of the Mohican Church of the Brethren.


He is survived by his wife, Virginia Shriver Bodager, to whom he was married January 17, 1970, a son,


Scott (Rhonda) Bodager of Jacksonville, FL, two daughters, Sherri (Brad) Nelson of Jeromesville and


Staci (Jerry) Badger of West Salem, 8 grandchildren, Tyler (Kara) Bodager, Jessica (Derek)


Provencher , Aubrey (Jarrett) Varner, Addie (Collin) Bodager, Coral (Noah) Nelson, Storm (Kayla)


Nelson, Kyle Badger and Kaleb Badger, 6 great grandsons, Rhett and Brooks Bodager, Henry Goodwin,


Weston, Knox and Carson Nelson and two brothers, Ron (Peggy) Bodager of Lexington, KY and Brian


Bodager of Beaver, OH.


He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Pam Bodager.


Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday December 20, 2025 at Mohican Church of the Brethren with Pastor


Paul Bartholomew officiating. Burial will be in the Mohican Church of the Brethren Cemetery.


Friends may call Friday December 19, 2025 from 6-9 pm at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville


or one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
