Doyle Eugene McQuate, 92 formerly of Jeromesville died

Monday October 22, 2012 at Hospice House.  He was

born August 8, 1920 in Ashland Co. the son of Glenn E.

and Mabel Clouse McQuate.  He was a 1939 graduate

of Polk High School and a U.S. Army Veteran of the 3rd

Army 202nd Field Artillery Battalion during World War II.  Doyle

was a truck driver for Nickles Bakery and a member

of the Jeromesville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary

and Kathy McQuate of Ashland, 4 grandchildren, 19

great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren,

and a sister, Marjorie (Lowell) McFarlin of Jeromesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife,

Luella Young McQuate on April 6, 1997, and a granddaughter,

Christie Maffett in 2006.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday October 26, 2012 at the

Jeromesville United Methodist Church with Rev. Debra Speer

officiating.  Burial will be in the Jeromesville Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday October 25, 2012 from 7-9 pm

at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville.
