Donna Jean Sample, 74 of Ashland died Friday

December 14, 2012 at Samaritan Regional Health

System.  She was born May 26, 1938 in Ashland

Co. the daughter of Lester and Maxine Camp Metcalf.

She was a 1956 graduate of Jeromesville High School.

Donna retired from the Mansfield News Journal were she

drove for 38 years and was a member of the Jeromesville

Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Sample, to whom

she was married June 23, 1960, their foster daughter,

Angie Hartge of Colorado Springs, two brothers, Eugene

Metcalf of Germany and Allen Metcalf of South Bend, IN,

and two sisters, Delores Stumbaugh and Sharon Cox

both of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday December 17, 2012

at Fickes Funeral Home with Pastor Lisa Page

officiating.  Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday December 16, 2012 from 2-5 pm

at the funeral home.
