Donald Elvin Roberts, 89 of Hayesville died Saturday

November 21, 2015 at his residence.  He was born March

8, 1926 in Ashland Co. the son of R. Carl and Frances

Carpenter Roberts.  He was a 1944 graduate of Hayesville

High School and worked for ODOT for 35 years, retiring in

1988.  Donald belonged to many tractor pulling

organizations, Hayesville Lions Club and Ashland Co. Yesteryear Machinery Club.

He attended Little Flock Fellowship Church.

He is survived by five children, Jacqueline Lewis, Deborah (Dave) Gray, Michael (Donna)

Roberts, Jeffrey (Linda) Roberts and Loren (Janet) Roberts all of Hayesville, 11 grandchildren,

12 great grandchildren, 5 step-children, 2 sisters, Marla Gebhardt of Oklahoma and Nancy

Roberts of Florida, two sisters-in-law, Ellen Jeffrey and Doris Houser, both of Wooster and a

special friend, Betty Basinger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his 1st wife, Donna Atterholt Roberts in 1985,

his 2nd wife, Dona Albright Roberts in 2000 and a sister, Doris Conrad.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday November 25, 2015 at Fickes Funeral Home in

Jeromesville with Pastor Mike Weaver officiating.  Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery at

Hayesville.

Friends may call Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
