Donald (Donnie) Nelson Curtis, 72 of Ashland passed away Monday February 27, 2023 at Brethern

Care Nursing Home.

Donnie was born May 18, 1950 the son of late Everett and Elizabeth Donaldson Curtis.

He married his childhood sweetheart, Shirley Dudte on November 27, 1967. Donnie was a member of

Trinity United Methodist Church and attended Ashland High School.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Curtis, daughter, Kimberly Dodd, sisters and brothers-

in-law, Sara (Joe) Hanna, Kathy (Bill) Gertel and numerous extended family.

In addition to his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by a daughter, Roberta Jo Curtis, son-in-law,

Jesse Dodd, and brothers, Earl Curtis and Tom Curtis.

A small family service will be at Trinity Cemetery with Chaplain Major Joseph E. Hanna (retired)

officiating.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
