Dean Eugene Miller, 92 of Lakeville died Sunday August 24, 2014 at his

residence.  He was born July 13, 1922 in Holmes Co. the son of Elza and

Rachel Parsons Miller.  He was a 1940 graduate of Nashville High School

and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.   He was an insurance agent

for Washington Mutual and farmed.  Dean was a 32nd Degree Mason and

member of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio and the

Garfield Lodge 0528 of Shreve.  He was also a member of the Lakeville United

Methodist Church, and the Loudonville American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Carpenter Miller, to whom he was married

December 27, 1945, two sons, Larry (Roseann) Miller of Lakeville, and Terry

Miller of Lakeville, a daughter, Marilyn Miller of Lakeville, 3 grandchildren,

Dale Miller, David Miller and Tim Miller, and 3 great grandchildren, Cody

Miller, Jessilyn Miller and Pacee Miller.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday August 28, 2014 at Nashville

Cemetery with  Pastor Shirley Thorpe officiating.    Loudonville American Legion

will perform military rites.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville is handling the arrangements.
