Dean Franklin Drushel, 88 of Jeromesville died Monday December 4, 2017 in Kingsport, Tennessee.

He was born December 31, 1928 in Ashland County the son of Frank and Grace Hetsler Drushel. Dean

was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired truck driver for CW Transport. He was a member of

the Jeromesville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel Austen Drushel to whom he was married August 12, 1949, a son,

Steven (Melanie) Drushel of Gray, TN and a granddaughter, Stephanie Drushel of Gray, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Dianne Drushel, two brothers and three sisters.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday December 9, 2017 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Pastor Sue Chidley officiating. Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery where the Ashland Veterans

Honor Guard will conduct military rites.

Friends may call Friday December 8, 2017 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
