David Denney, 66 of Jeromesville died Tuesday

October 15, 2013.  He was born September 3, 1947 in

Ashland the son of Homer and Dorothy Stover Denney.

He was a farmer and drove milk truck for 13 years.  David

was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and

attended the Jeromesville United Methodist Church.

He was a member of the Jeromesville Lions Club and

was an avid coon hunter.  David was a fan of the Cleveland

Browns, Indians and Cavs and loved his grandchildren more

than anything.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Taylor Denney, to whom he

was married June 8, 1968, three daughters, Wendy (Rich) Myers

of Ashland, Kelly Moore of Medina and Molly (Rob) Phillips of

Hayesville, 9 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Rosemary Banks of

Mansfield and Theda (Larry) Zimmerman of Wooster, and

a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Denney of Ashland.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother,

Darel Denney.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday October 21, 2013 at Fickes

Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor Melvin Browning

officiating.  Friends may call 2 hours prior to the service on

Monday.  Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery.
