Cora June Ajtaji was born May 16, 2015 at 5:43 am. She was diagnosed with anenchephaly at

20 weeks so we didn't know how long she would live. Psalm 139:14 says "I praise you, for I

am fearfully and wonderfully made". Cora lived for a short time before going to heaven. We

have known this day was coming for the last 15 weeks and God has carried us and given us

peace that could only come from him. We are so blessed by so many people praying for us

and couldn't get through this time without that. All through the night as we were waiting

for her arrival we had Deuteronomy 31:8 in mind. It says "It is the Lord who goes before you.

He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." It is

such a comfort knowing God will go before us in the difficult times and we are not going

alone. We praise God for the gift of Cora and the time we've had with her and most

important that she is with her Lord and Savior now. We imagine she is dancing and playing

in heaven until we meet her again.

Cora is survived by her parents Jonathan and Kathryn (Smith), sister, Lucy, grandparents,

Kevin and Karen Smith of Jeromesville and Joseph and Kathryn Ajtaji of Loudonville, aunts

and uncles, Kyle (Afton) Smith, Kenton (Jenna) Smith, Matt (Laura) Ajtaji, Joyce (Dan)

Flinner,Mark Ajtaji, Anne (Chris) Lee, David (Jeanette) Ajtaji, & Beth (Eric) Coots, as well

as several cousins and great-grandparents, David and Patricia Watson. A private family

graveside service will take place at a later date and time. Memorial contributions may be

made to  Children's Ministry at Grace Brethren Church in Ashland.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
