Obituary

Charles William Miller, 85 of Ashland died Monday January 29, 2018 at

his residence.  He was born May 6, 1932 in Lancaster the son of Lawrence

William and Frances Cenei Miller.  He graduated from St. Mary's High School

in Lancaster and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.  Mr. Miller

worked as a meterologist for Mansfield Lahm Airpot and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church

in Mansfield.  Along with his son, Lance he enjoyed military vehicle restoration, and was known as the

"Jeep Man".  He loved his weimaraners and teasing his granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Lane of Ashland, a son, Lance Miller of Loudonville, a daughter,

Sandy (Chad) Enderby of Ashland, and 2 granddaughters, Lauren Enderby and Lexi Enderby.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 1:00 PM Friday February 2, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mansfield with

Father Nelson Beaver officiating.  Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday February 1, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue P.O. Box 372 Grand

Haven, Michigan 49417.
