Charles Alexander Glass Jr., passed away Friday August 12, 2022 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home

in Ashland. He was born June 21, 1933 in Ashland Co. the son of Charles A. and Elsa Shambaugh

Glass Sr. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and worked at Columbia Gas as a Plant

Supervisor. Charles was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Ashland.

He is survived by his wife, Leona Staats Glass, to whom he was married December 25, 1955, a

daughter, Meleny (Mark) Johnson of Polk, a son, Michael (Sheri) Glass of Stow, a son, Mark (Marilyn)

Glass, a brother, William Glass of Ashland and a sister, Anna Mae Beecher of Ashland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Beverly Legg and Mary Alice Boals.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday August 16, 2022 at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville

with Pastor Harry Strachan officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
