Chad S Barr

Chad S. Barr, 46, of Ashland, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, in LaGrange Kentucky, following an unexpected medical emergency.

Chad was born on October 11, 1979, in Ashland, Ohio to Barbara (True) Barr and Gary Barr.

A lifelong resident of Ashland, Chad graduated from Mapleton High School with the class of 1998. Chad was employed many places throughout his lifetime. Here are a few that he truly enjoyed: Custom Displays, Ultrabuilt Play Systems, Bob Evans during the evening for extra cash just because he was bored (where he met his loving wife), Norfolk Southern Railroad and his Favorite of all Kerr Trucking LLC of Nova Ohio, where he finished out doing what he Loved, Owner Operator of a Semi trucking business. This job truly meant the world to him as he was able to be sole provider allowing his wife to be a stay- at- home mom. He was so proud and he truly enjoyed working for The Kerr Trucking Business. Chad was a very dedicated, self-driven and motivated hard-working man who loved his family above all else. He never complained a day in his life. He was always happy go lucky and could literally talk to any stranger and become fast friends. He always brought many visions to life when his loving wife had honey do projects that she dreamed up while looking on pinterest. He was a true carpenter, a farmer who loved being in the field plowing up Gods earth and planting for fall harvest, he enjoyed the open road in his big green semi- truck and where it was going to take him next. He lived for his family and did whatever necessary to be the best husband and father to his son. He is missed beyond words and loved by many.

Chad Barr is survived by his Loving Wife of 24 years, Jamie (Eikleberry) Barr, whom he married July 20, 2002; his son Colton Barr (5yrs. Old), his sister Julie (Barr) Bailey and Brother-n-law Brad Bailey of Ashland, Sister-n-law Jennifer (Eikleberry) Marotta and brother-n-law Derek Marotta of York, South Carolina, along with a mother-n-law, several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Chad was preceded in death by his parents Gary Barr and Barbara (True) Barr.

His memory will be forever cherished and embraced by all who knew him and loved him.
