Carol Jane Ashby, 78 formerly of the Mifflin area, died Monday

August 6, 2018 at Wedgewood Estates in Mansfield.  She was

born October 9, 1939 in Kitzmiller, Maryland the daughter of

Wilbert Gordon and Mildred Elaine Harvey Beeman. Carol

was a housekeeper at Richland Hospital and the Ashland

Co. Career Center and was a member of the Hayesville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Tom (Hope) Ashby of Centerburg and Terry (Lisa) Ashby of Ashland, 3

grandchildren, six brothers, Wilbert (Judy) Beeman of Akron, Charles (Kathy) Beeman of Kent,

Raymond Beeman, Jimmy Dale Beeman and Roger (Edith) Beeman of Oakland, Maryland and George

(Susie) Beeman of Swanton, Maryland, four sisters, Helen Tasker, Edith (Robert) Tasker, Betty Nelson

and Louise (Ron) Bray all of Oakland, Maryland, and a brother-in-law, Jack (Kathleen) Ashby of

Perrysville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Eugene Ashby on April 17, 2014 and a sister,

Linda Sisler.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday August 10, 2018 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with Pastor

Wendy Guion and Pastor Paula Archdeacon officiating.  Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday August 9, 2018 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.
