Betty Jean Young, 86 of rural Sullivan, died Saturday, November 11, 2017 after a long illness.  She was

born May 29, 1931 to Cary Botdorf Sheffer.  She graduated in 1948 from Sullivan High School and

was a Bookkeeper at Rybolt Heater Company and Smith Insurance.

She was married November 3, 1973 to Merrill Young of Hayesville, who survives.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Robert Landis.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be held at Jeromesville Cemetery at 1:00 PM on Monday November 13, 2017.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.
