Betty Florence Faber Louden, 88 of Jeromesville passed April 7, 2014
at Belmont Tower. Betty was born on March 8, 1926 in Mohicanville, Ohio.
She was the beloved daughter of Eugene and Florence (Simms) Faber.
Betty married Robert Louden on June 4, 1949. Mrs. Louden is predeceased
by her husband, Robert Carl Louden and son Randy J. Louden. She is
survived by her son R.K. (Rick) Louden of Salisbury, Pennsylvania, daughter
Cindy Louden Boyer of Orlando, Florida, granddaughters, Lindsay Boyer
Peabody, Alexis Louden adn grandsons, Brandon Boyer, Logan Louden,
Zachary, Jeremiah and Kaleb Louden, beloved great-grandchildren, Kaley,
Jacob and Emma Grace Peabody, Jenna, Delaney and Jillian Louden. In
addition, she is survived by a son-in-law, Stephen Boyer, daughter-in-law,
Sandra Miller-Louden, brother Alton Faber, niece Vicki Faber Rose, nephew
Greg Faber, in addition to many grand nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Louden lived all of her life in Jeromesville, except for the years spent
traveling with her husband who was in the army. She loved her community
and had been active in the Jeromesville Historical Society, Merry Gardeners,
Tee Pee Tenders, TNT Bridge Club and the Jeromesville United Methodist
Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Betty loved her family and her friends and took special pleasure in giving
and doing for others.
Mrs. Louden was well-known for her talents in flower arranging, crafts and
ran a popular ceramics shop in her home for many years. In addition she
accompanied her husband, an accomplished aviator, on many trips in
their airplane. Betty and Bob were members of the American Bonanza
Society and traveled all over the world.
The funeral will take place Saturday April 12, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Fickes
Funeral Home in Jeromesville. Burial will follow at the Jeromesville
Cemetery. Family and friends may attend a luncheon at the Jeromesville
Methodist Church immediately following the burial. Calling hours will be
held on Friday April 11, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
