Barbara A. Martin passed away Friday March 8, 2024 at Danbury Assisted Living in Wooster. Barb

was born on February 1, 1935 in Wayne County, the youngest child of William and Isa (Byrd) Baucher.

She was a 1953 graduate of Jeromesville High School. On July 8, 1954 she was united in marriage to

John E. Martin who preceded her in death on August 13, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her

parents, a brother, Fred and sisters, Mary Funk, Helen Baucher, Ruth Blaches and a great

granddaughter, Scarlett Clever.

Barb loved the Lord with all her heart, her family, mowing the lawn, walking through the woods, where

she could meditate and enjoy all nature had to offer, wild flowers, red birds, good neighbors, sunsets

and coffee.

Surviving are three daughters, Jo Ellen (Tim) Clever, Jill (Richard) Hiller all of Ashland, Jane (Brad)

Garrison of West Salem, seven grandchildren, Jason (Elisa) Clever of Columbus, Holly and Michael

Tennant of Pittsburgh, PA, Kristin (Dennis) Fisher of Ripely, West VA, John (Andrea) Clever of

Hilliard, Adam (Joni) Hiller of Ashland, Shannon Garrison of St. Clairsville and Spencer (Risa)

Garrison of West Salem, and great-grandchildren, Tori, Tiffany, Matthew, Isaac, Jacob, Nicola and

Emily.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no public services are planned.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville is handling the arrrangements.
