Arthur Earl Davis Jr., 75 of Ashland died Saturday February 9, 2013

at his residence.  He was born April 27, 1937 in Akron the son of

Arthur Earl and Gretchen Lewton Davis.  He was a U.S. Air Force

Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a Draftsman for Goodyear Rubber.

Arthur was an avid History Buff, very patriotic and enjoyed being with

his grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Arthur Angelo Lewton (Julie) Davis of

Columbus and Alexander Harrington Davis of Ashland, 3 step-daughters,

Connie (David) Wimer of Connecticut, Christine (Todd) Lonzrick of

Cuyahoga Falls and Cynthia (Richard) Boyer of Wooster, 7 grandchildren,

Orin Davis, Erica Boyer, Cameron Boyer, Tyler Wimer, Justin Wimer,

Codi Anderson and Shanna Dennison.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Barbara Robinson

Davis.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday February 14, 2013 at

Mansfield Memorial Park, where military rites will be conducted.

There will be no calling hours.

Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville is in charge of arrangements.
