Anne Oberholtzer, 80 of Ashland died Monday August 22,
2016.  She was born August 21, 1936 in Ashland the
daughter of Harry G. and Charlotte Teeter Dotson.  She
was a 1954 graduate of Ashland High School and co-owner
of Ashland Quality Egg Farm.  She was a member of the
Christ United Methodist Church and most recently Maple
Grove Church of the Brethren.  Anne directed the
Children's Choir and the Bell Choir at Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Oberholtzer, to whom she was married
December 30, 1954, her children, Kenneth (Nancy) Oberholtzer of Ashland, Kelley
(Dale) Workman of Rutherfordton, NC, Kevin (Carol) Oberholtzer of Ashland, Karen
(James) Cole of Ashland, Kim (Robert) Halblaub of Ashland, Kurt (Kimberly) Oberholtzer
of Ashland, Karla Oberholtzer of Oklahoma, Thomas Oberholtzer of Ashland, Amy Irias
of Fredricksburg and Florence Oberholtzer of Ashland, 20 grandchildren, Elizabeth
Oberholtzer, Benjamin (Kristin) Oberholtzer, Jay (Tabitha) Calhoon, Stacy Calhoon,
Katie (Chris) Rezabek, Megan (Jeff) Studer, Sarah (Zach) Appleby, Jacob Oberholtzer,
Carly (Gary) George, Tiffany Cole, Angie Cole, Corey Robey, Kyle Robey, Kaley Halblaub,
Chloe Halblaub, Casse Halblaub, Colin Betts, Nick Betts, Makenzie Oberholtzer and Brooke
Moore, 9 great grandchildren, Chance McClurg, Cody McClurg, Clive Oberholtzer, Cecily
Rezabek, Owen Studer, Ruby Studer, Gary George, Cayden George and Liam Moore, a sister, Carolyn Scholz of Charleston, SC and two brothers, Daniel Dotson of Farnham, VA and David (Jennifer) Dotson of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Derick Moore.
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday August 26, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church with
Pastor Jon Priebe officiating.  Interment will be at a later date in Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday August 25, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Christ United
Methodist Church.
