Obituary

Angela "Angie" Lynn Spade-Snyder, age 34, of 97 Plum Street, Jeromesville died at the home she shared with her husband on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
Born December 9, 1976 in Ashland, Angie was the daughter of Mr. Gail Spade of Jeromesville.  A lifelong resident of Jeromesville area, Angie graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1995.  On Valentine's Day 1997, Angie married Earl Snyder, the love of her life.  He preceded her in death on April 7, 2011.
Survivors include Angie's loving father, Gail Spade of Jeromesville; the outstanding young man she was proud to call her son, Randy Burson, II, of Berea, Ky; the stepdaughter she loved as her own, Jessica (Jeff) McHugh of Reynoldsburg, sister, Heidi Spade and her daughters, Cassandra and Kate Bee of Loudonville; honorary brothers and sisters, John and Carolyn Keogh of Mansfield, Curt and Tricia Goff of Ashland, Lisa Hoffman of Kearney, NE, and Dave and Chris Zellas of St. Thomas, Canada; sister-in-law, June Hala of Sterling Heights, MI; uncle George Spade of Lakeville; nieces Dolores (John) Gentile of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Denise (Keith) Carson of Cleveland, Stephanie (Kevin) Kaslatas and their daughters, Cara and Catie of Macomb, MI, Briana (Dean) Overholt and their son, Ford of Eastpointe, MI, Desiree Judy and her son, DJ of North Carolina, and Elizabeth (Dan) Miklos and their children Owen, Marina and Elise of Hudson, OH; cousins, Tecka Sanders, Audrey Heckman, John Votruba, Allie Wukovich and her sons, Dominic and Antonio, Jason Kotzar, Robin (Lupe) Sabala and their daughter, Amanda, and a host of close friends.
In addition to her husband, Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Evelyn "Shorty" Spade.
Since the age of thirteen Angie worked beside her father at Mufflers and More in Jeromesville.  Most recently, Angie was a student at The Akron University--Wayne College studying Social Work.  She made many friends while there, including a special bond with Professor Susan Jones.  An aspiring author, Angie wrote several novels.
Angie loved spending time with her friends and family, and most importantly, with her husband, Earl.  For much of the last year, Angie cared for Earl throughout his struggle with ALS ( Lou Gehrig's Disease) and remained by his side throught his hospitalizations.
Graveside services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday May 24, 2011 at Pleasant View Cemetery with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating.  There will be no calling hours.
