Alice June Richardson, 78 formerly of Jeromesville, died

Wednesday August 26, 2015 at Brethren Care Village.

She was born November 5, 1936 in Ashland Co. the

daughter of Ira and Marguerite Witmer Rowland.

She was Co-Owner and Operator of Bucks Furniture and

was a member of Ashland Church of Christ, where she was part of the Bear program,

dedicating her time and money to Children in Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. Richardson enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and feeding the humming birds.

She is survived by her children, Rodney (Cyndy) Richardson of Ashland, Debra Davis of

Danville, Chris Richardson of Jeromesville and Janice (Tom) Burkart of Danville, her

grandson Chad (Jenn Lane) Richardson who lived with Alice, 10 grandchildren, 17 great

grandchildren, and two sisters, Donna Mae McDaniel of Ashland and Elsie Chio of

Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jennings Ray (Buck) Richardson, her

son-in-law, Gary Davis, a brother, Forest Dale Rowland and a sister, Janet Spotts.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday September 1, 2015 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville

with  Huey Bean officiating.  Burial will be in Jeromesville Cemetery.  Friends may call

Monday August 31, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
