Georgia June Lint Ingram, formerly of rural Jeromesville, died quietly on July 1, 2017, at Elmcroft Assisted Living in Miamisburg, Ohio.  She was born October 25, 1927 in Adah, Pennsylvania to George and Lena Huggins Lint.  She received her name, Georgia June as the fourth of five daughters, her parents having given up hope on “George Junior”.  She and her sisters grew up first in Pennsylvania near her father’s family, then later near Waverly, West Virginia near her mother’s family.  June graduated high school in Akron, Ohio, where her family had moved during World War II.  June married Frederick R. Ingram in Williamstown, West Virginia on June 9, 1953 and moved to Ohio.  They resided together on State Route 89 outside of Jeromesville for more than 40 years and enjoyed the community there.
June was both an at-home mother and a managing partner of Fred’s drilling enterprise.  She was a talented cook and craftsperson and an exceptional seamstress. She loved her family and enjoyed researching their roots, compiling a book of their genealogy in 1987.  She was active in the First Christian Church of Ashland prior to her move to Elmcroft in 2008.
June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred in 2000, and her daughter Carley Jean (Michael Moloney) in March of this year.  Carley had assumed responsibility for the bulk of her care in the last 9 years. June frequently expressed her gratitude for that and for the good care she received.  Also preceding in death were sisters Mary Elizabeth Lint (infancy), Evelyn Eudora Lint McIntyre, Anna Louise Lint Nelson, and Hazel Jean Lint Davis.
Surviving June are children Georgia Ann Ingram (Forrest Chambers) of Savannah, Georgia, Robert Lee Ingram (Tammy) of Lyons, Georgia, and Janet Sue Ingram of Ashland, Ohio.  Grandchildren are Jesse Stake, Kate Sands, Robert Ingram, Matthew Ingram, John Moloney, Daniel Moloney, and Catherine Moloney and great-grandson Alec Sands.
Services will be on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the First Christian Church of Ashland, 1425 King Road.  Visitation will be from 10 am until 11 am, with services starting at 11 am.  Lunch will be served at the church, followed by the interment of ashes at the Jeromesville Cemetery.  Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville assisted the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at
