Paul Jacob Fortune

Paul Jacob Fortune, 88 of Mifflin died Friday August 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 25,

1931 in Coshocton Co. the son of Ford Russell and Goldie Sarah Randles Fortune. He worked at

Abbott Labs/Faultless for 38 years as a machine operator.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Fortune of Mifflin, three sisters, Delores Norman, Shirley Sellers and

Martha Thomas, and a special friend, Sherri Van Meter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Donna Lutz Fortune, a daughter, Karen Louise

Fortune, three brothers, Johnny Fortune, Clarence Fortune and George Fortune, and a sister, Irene

Bookman.

Services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday August 28, 2019 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Chaplain David Matos officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
