Stanley Kay Anderson, 80 of Ashland died Friday December 22,
2017 at Smithville Western Care Center. He was born October
31, 1937 in Ashland Co. the son of Walter and Helen Metcalf
Anderson.
He was a brushmaker for Wooster Brush and owned Molly’s
Cheese House for 32 years. Stanley was a U.S. Navy veteran,
a member of Shreve Chapter 496 Order of Eastern Star and
a member of the Masonic Lodge Garfield #528.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori (Allan) Wilson of Massillon, a son, Scott Anderson of Gilbert,
Arizona, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, a brother, Kenneth Anderson of Ashland and several
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Imojean Boley, June Boley, Ada Henry, Joan
McIntire, and Charlene Thompson and two brothers, John Anderson, and Darwin Anderson.
Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday December 27, 2017 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville
with Pastor Layton Broome officiating. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
