Daryl Franklin Stoner, 80 of Perrysville died

September 11, 2017 at Riverside Methodist

Hospital in Columbus. He was born October

10, 1936 in Ashland Co. the son of Lawrence

and Forrest E. Snyder Stoner. He was a farmer

and member of Perrysville Baptist Church. Daryl

was a member of the Hayesville-Vermillion Fire Department starting in 1954 and retiring in 2012

as assistant chief, and a member of the Gold Wings Chapter V. He was a charter member of the

Ashland County Firefighters Association. Mr. Stoner had been a past member of the Ashland County

Fire Chief’s Association, the Ohio State Firefighters Association and the Ohio State Fire Chief’s

Association.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Hanna Stoner, to whom he was married June 17, 1956, five children,

Teresa (Wendell) Conn of Ashland, Tammy (Randy) Hosler of Ashland, Edward L. (Lucy) Stoner fo

Perrysville, Kevin (Melanie) Stoner of Perrysville and Scott (Jami) Stoner of Ashland, 11

grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter brothers and sisters-in-law,

Duane Baum, Jim and Jean Hanna, Marty and Deb Keets and Jack and Sue Graham, and several

nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, an infant brother and a sister-in-law, Sharon Baum.

Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 16, 2017 at Fickes Funeral Home in Jeromesville with

Pastors Howdy Burnett and Joe Graham officiating. Burial will be in Vermillion Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday September 15, 2017 from 4-8 pm at the funeral home.

OH 44864 or the Hayesville-Vermillion Fire Department P. O. Box 242 Hayesville, OH 44838.
