Dear Karen and family, We are so very sorry for your loss!! Bob had a "giant" to fight and he fought a valiant battle with all of his strength.. Bless his heart!! He was always so friendly to us and we enjoyed talking with him. Praying that each of you may feel the strength and comfort of God's loving arms at this time, in the coming days, and all throughout your journey on this earth. May this verse comfort you. .Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints".... Sending lots of hugs, love, and prayers for each of you at this very challenging time. With sincere sympathy, Your Cousin, Charles & Ruth Ann Gibbs

I saw Bob once a year at the Samaritan clinic and he was always the highlight of my day. Even seeing his smile in his obituary picture just made me smile. Your statement that he "never knew a stranger" is sure how he made me feel. I'm sure you will all miss him, and I'm very sorry for your loss

I met "Bob" several years ago, when he first came to Kingston of Ashland to participate in our Aquatic Arthritis exercise classes. He seemed to enjoy the classes, and initally benefit from the exercise, and of course the social contact with other participants. Even when he stopped the classes, he would stop at the pool to ask how everyone was doing. Always with a kind word and of course his BIG smile. Bob added a high degree of positive energy to every personal contact he made. I have missed his friendship in the recent year(s) and will always think of Bob, and his close family members who I also have come to value as personal friends. Go in Peace. You are missed.
